As of two days ago, my 3DS XL has ceased to work properly. I had recently updated it, along with my games in the system, nor have i dropped the system at all. Whenever I attempt to power on the system, the LED light will turn on (blue light) but the screen will remain blank. It takes around 10 seconds to shut off after turning it on as well. I've taken out the battery and put it back in, restarted the system multiple times, let it stay on overnight to juice the battery and turn it on after recharging it, and no luck. I'm wondering what to do in this situation, as I have had this problem before and it seemed to have resolved itself.
Ive already gotten my e-mail from Nintendo to send in the device to them as i had filled out that forum earlier. However, before I send anything in i want to be sure it's an issue I'm unable to fix. Also, a side question. For an issue like this one, would it be likely for them to wipe all of my data such as e-shop purchases and save files? I currently have 800+ hours in Pokemon X, which I'm very iffy on giving up, and I have a digital version of SSB4 and the pokemon OR/AS demo. If they do wipe the data, is there any way to get my save files back?
