I was so excited to pick up and play Super Smash Bros. for 3ds. It's a very fun and competitive fighting game franchise that I have loved since the beginning. Of course, this led me to high expectations of the 3ds version. I was so excited to play the online mode with other good players. BUT OF COURSE, like the LAST GAME that came out OVER 5 YEARS AGO, the online mode is STILL BROKEN (LAG)! Like honestly, did you even test the modes before you released it? If you wonder why you're bleeding money, it's for this very obvious reason. You legitimately have no good competitive games working online, at all. Thanks for, once again, getting my hopes up, and then (as always) destroying them in a heartbeat. The game is so much fun when it runs smoothly. Too bad that only happens maybe once in every ten online match pairings. Nearly every game has eratic and unpredictable moments of latency. It's a FIGHTING game where every tenth of a second can be game changing. Yet, every five seconds there are many times where my inputs are completely lost or ignored because of the latency. I have lost nearly all faith in your company's ability to make anything playable online. Seriously, it's 2014. Get your **** together. I regret ever buying my 3DS now.... I have tried all of your troubleshooting solutions to fix the connection issues, and they have not helped in the slightest. And this is of course, just playing online one versus one. If you try playing the regular smash mode, the latency is so bad that you literally want to throw your 3DS against a wall. It plays like there's a 56kb/s connection for a every player involved. You honestly deserve to be losing the over four hundred million dollars you have lost. Your company has built such a great legacy of games over the past three decades, and it will probably be lost in the future due to your complete lack of direction or ability to improve your games. It deeply saddens me that I will most likely not be able to enjoy future titles of Super Smash Bros. because of your foolishness. I'm so dissapointed.... I can't even find the words at this point...
If I could return my 3DS for a refund, I would of already.
Once again, thank you Nintendo for being a consistent let down...
