I recently got a new 16GB SD card from Nintendo's own online store for my 3DS since the 2GB stick was getting full. I followed Nintendo's instructions for transferring data from the old card to the new one, including formatting the new card first.
But now I'm trying to play my cartridge version of Final Fantasy Theatrhythm: Curtain Call, for which I'd purchased and downloaded a few DLC songs prior to the card swap. The problem is once I tapped my in-game profile icon to get to the main menu, I got these messages on my bottom screen:
"Extra data is being checked now..."
"Do not turn off the power or remove your SD card until this process is complete."
As of this posting, I think it's been checking the extra data (presumably the DLC songs) for at least 10-20 minutes with no sign of stopping. There's no progress bar or anything, just the little running chocobo animation.
Does anyone know how long this kind of thing usually takes? I plugged my 3DS in and have no intention of turning it off if the data check needs to run its course, I just hope it has a positive outcome...
