Ever since I got my MH4U demo codes, I've been trying to get the demo but I can't since my 3DS won't connect to the eshop. I'm getting error codes 007-2100 and 005-4040, both of which say that the eshop is unavailable. However, eshop status is okay whenever I check it on the nintendo website itself. I have been trying for the past 2 days, and have yet to successfully connect to the eshop. I've found that this extends to some game updates as well, since my steel divers: sub wars game always fails to update.The 3DS can access the internet just fine, but it cannot get past the first loading screen of the eshop (the one before it logs in your NNID). I've got the latest firmware and trying to update it from system settings just gets me a system is updated notification. So far, I've tried switching the 3DS on/off, turning off the router firewall, and portforwarding but nothing has worked yet. I think it's also worth mentioning that sometimes when connecting to the eshop, after the error code shows up, it takes a really long time (sometimes a few minutes) before the return to home menu option pops up. Any help is appreciated.
