I'm doing a PC-based transfer between a Nintendo 3DS and a New Nintendo 3DSXL, and I'm at copy/paste step where you copy the files from the 3DS SD card to the New 3DS micro SD card.When I copy the "Nintendo 3DS" folder to the micro SD, it stops me and tells me that the destination path for the folder "0000008f" is too long, and can't be copied. I went ahead and looked at the files myself. The problem folder is under 2 letter-number codes, then a lone folder marked "extra data", then a lone folder called "00000000". There it sits inbetween to 2 folders with numeric names, both leading to an assortment of files also with numeric names. The 0000008f folder itself, however, leads to a completely identical set of folders, arranged in the same way. If you keep clicking the 0000008f folder, it will keep going to new identical sets untill my computer can't go any farther. Cam someone help me figure out what's going on, and/or if I can somehow complete the transfer without these files?
