Hi there,
About two weeks ago, I received my Nintendo 3DS XL LL from Nintendo after a repair for my left thumbstick. I noticed about a week ago that my top cover plate has a deep scratch, definitely something that wasn't there when I mailed it out for I'm really **** about keeping my things all nice and clean. So my question is, is it possible to send in my Nintendo do 3DS XL LL for them to replace the top cover plate that "they" scratched for a new one? I've been contemplating whether I should send it in or not. The reason why is because 1. I'll be getting a skin for my DS so it'll be covered up and 2. I'm not sure if they will accept it because they might say "I" did it, even though I don't even have proof to prove it. Even though I haven't even touched it much since I've received it back and the fact that it has been sitting on my night table next to my bed. What should I do? Just ignore it and accept that they won't repair something they clearly made a scratch on? Yes it's a small scratch on the top surface, deep though, and about an inch long, but I'm really **** about my stuff being all nice and shiny and would like for this to be fixed for free if possible. Even the bottom plate feels a bit lose, near the power button. It seems like they had a hard time opening it and try peeling it off with their nails. Just pressing against it makes a small, very minor, squeak that just bugs the heck out of me. Yes, they are minor, but I'm truly truly **** about my stuff being nice and shiny.
