Dear all,
I'm having a weird problem with my New 3DS XL. Whenever I go to the Theme Shop and I choose to either make a purchase, redeem a code or even just get the list of all the themes I've previously bought, I get an error message. The code is 009-1001 and it basically tells me that the server is undergoing a maintenance and that I should come back later. Then I get logged off the Shop.
The thing is, I've had this problem for a few weeks now, roughly a month. I thought at first I would just wait it out but it doesn't seem to fix itself. I've also first noticed this problem when I was abroad but I'm still experiencing this issue now that I am home. That's why I don't think my Internet connection is the problem, especially since I can still access the eShop and everything else just fine on my 3DS. I did reset my Internet settings on my console though, but to no avail.
Has anyone ever heard about this problem? I tried Googling the error code but the only reports I saw were from people who were trying to access the eShop during a scheduled maintenance, whereas I've been having this problem for weeks. I did send an email to Nintendo Customer Service so I'm also waiting for their answer. I was just wondering if anyone here knew how to fix this issue.
