For some reason, anything I try to download on my 3DS--mainly larger things like eShop downloads, firmware updates, and software updates--simply refuse to finish downloading.
I have a Technicolor TC8305C router.
The first time I experienced this was on November 24th when I tried to download the digital version of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Regardless of whether I chose Download Now or Download Later, the download wouldn't complete anyway.
When I chose Download Now, it would progress a little bit. But after a random amount of time, the ornaments would stop showing up, and eventually it will give me error code 009-2913.
When I chose Downloader Later, the download would either go up a few percent or none at all before it completely stopped progressing, after leaving it in Sleep Mode for about an hour.
The only workaround I found was to choose Download Now and let it download bit by bit; once it stopped, I had to restart the download and let it download a little more again. You can imagine how annoying this would be.
Since the incident with Zelda, the problem has occurred with everything else I have downloaded. I had to use the same workaround with Kirby's Adventure, but it didn't take as long as, since it's a smaller game. It took me about ten tries to successfully download the latest 3DS firmware update and the latest Streetpass Mii Plaza updates because they would always get interrupted, and I can't use the workaround for these because their download progress aren't saved.
I've been trying to download the extra Streetpass Mii Plaza games all day. I was able to download the smaller-sized games (Warrior's Way, Monster Manor, and Flower Town), but I'm unable to finish downloading Mii Force, and I can't use the workaround for this either. It doesn't stop at a specific place either; it always stops at random percentages. The closest I've gotten to completing it was 80%. I tried to download Mii Force again after completely disabling the firewall and after resetting the router, but it still gets interrupted.
I really don't know what the problem could be. I don't think it's my internet because everything else works fine; I can play 3DS games online without any issues, and internet works fine on my computer and smartphone. I also highly doubt that there's any interference in the house.
I tried searching online for solutions, and while I found some people with the same issue, there hasn't been a solution. Hopefully you guys can help me out with this.
