I'm trying to transfer my old 3DS to my new 3DS XL. I get to step 3/5 of the data transfer stage and everything appears to be going normally, but about half way through the Pikmin stop moving the boxes and the systems just sit there doing nothing. Go to 22:00 of this video to see someone else that had the same problem (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZJFUCzLhlw). Sometime the systems will sit there for an hour or more, and other times I'll get a "local wireless connection error" that cancels the transfer. I've tried formatting both systems a couple times and spent several hours trying to do the transfer and it doesn't work. I've called Nintendo support a couple times and haven't had anyone fix the problem yet; I'll try again tomorrow once they're open. I also tested a DS Download Play title to see if there was a hardware problem, but both systems handled it perfectly and the game played without problems. I'm at my wits ends with this one and hope that somebody has some advice for this.
