I purchased a 3DS from someone, but all of his information is on it and the clock is also wrong. I would like to know how to go about deleting all of his information without doing a system reset. Mario Kart is on the system and I don't want to delete it. I tried deleting his information before, but his Mii can not be deleted for some reason. I don't have the system in front of me at the moment, but his name I think has a star by it and his account type is given a specific name. So I want to completely erase him and his "steps" data and all of that from the system. I basically want to delete everything except the Mario Kart game. I've already created a Mii but haven't really done anything with it so can delete that to and start fresh if I have to.
Another small question--It was bought less than a year ago and it was never registered. If I register it, it should extend the warranty 90 days, right? The fact that I don't have the original receipt shouldn't matter, right?
I'm excited to be a 3DS owner! This is my first system of this type since the GameBoy Color! I plan on having a lot of fun with it. Thanks for any help you can provide.
