I own a Nintendo 3ds xl (usa region). I recently purchased OoT on eBay for what was advertised as a US version. What I received instead was a version that has a burst on the cover that says U.A.E, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Singapore. The seller stated that this game will play on a US version, but I am afraid to open it because the box says "Plays on Nintendo 3ds systems sold for Singapore, Malaysia, UAE and Saudi Arabia."
Does anyone know if this game is in fact compatible with my system, or if I need to return it and find the appropriate region. I'm confused, and I've looked online but have found people saying conflicing things....please help!
